Father Serra Parish - A New Beginning

We owe the fact that we can now worship in our magnificent new church to the vision and efforts of these three men (and many others who worked hard with them). Father Mariano Biasio was the first Pastor of Blessed Junipero Serra Parish. Ray Monti and Mike Munski served in the Parish Council, the Finance Council, and the Building Committee for many years.

Our Parish started out as a dream with a three-part building program: first our all-purpose hall and parish center with offices and classrooms; second our present church, and third a school someday when we have paid for what we now have. The entire parish is most grateful to these three men and to all those who have worked so hard to get us to where we are now. We honor the memory of Father Mariano Biasio, Ray Monti, and Michael Munski. Even though they just missed by a few months the dedication of our church and never got to worship in it, we do worship there and we pray the good Lord to receive them into the light of His eternal kingdom and grant them eternal rest in Heaven.
